LEXY GOT A TRUCK

Okay, so Lexy is super stoked! On Saturday she got a truck! Now, I'm not much of a truck person, but I must say...this one is pretty sweet! It is a red '89 Ford F-250 Elite. It is in great condition, and it was a bought at a very good price. And the best part is, I don't have to share the Civic anymore. Yeah! Here are some pic's...

WE GOT A Wii!!!

Today the Cosgrove family officially bought a Wii! It is probably the coolest thing I have ever played in my entire life! We got the Wii Sports package and it is quite a workout! Bowling is our favorite so far and my hamstrings are actually sore from playing. I have to brag a little bit and tell you all that I got four strikes in a row! Oh yeah! Anywho, you all will have to come out and play the new Wii sometime. Bran, I know you already have one! LOL! And you too Charlie and Chrissy. And I think you have one to Craigy. But to all the rest who are not Wii-ers. Come on out and have some fun! I promise that I will go easy on you! LOL! Here is a collage I made of Mom, Dad, and Lexy bowling! It's hilarious! And yes, Dad is actually using something technological! LOL! And he had a BLAST playing it too! We all did.

LYLA'S 1ST SIPPY CUP

Yesterday Lyla tried apple juice for the first time. I bought her a sippy cup last week and I gave her a bit then, but she did not want any part of it. So yesterday I decided to give it a try again...she LOVED it! So now Lyla is officially drinking juice. I cannot believe how many new things she is mastering everday.

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!

Top o' the marnin' to everyone, and happy St. Patty's Day! For those of us who are Irish, I hope you are searching for what the real meaning is of this day. And I REALLY hope that everyone is wearing green today, because if you aren't then I am going to virtually pinch you! LOL! Anywho, I took some pictures today of Lyla's first St. Patty's Day! Enjoy!

YUMMY PEACHES & NOT-SO-YUMMY PEAS

Yesterday Lyla tried two more stage 1 solids. For lunch she had peaches which she LOVED!!! She ate about half the container and then finished off the rest at dinner. At first she didn't seem to care for them, but once she got a good bite, she wanted MORE! Here are some pic's...

Later on yesterday afternoon I wasn't so lucky! I decided that Lyla needed to try some green veggies so I started her on peas. Right when I put that first tiny bite in her mouth she actually gagged! Poor little thing. I figured she just wasn't used to the taste so I put another small spoon-full in. This time she gagged AND threw up! I was like, "okay that's enough greens for today." She finished off her peaches from earlier instead. I felt so bad for her though. Today for lunch I gave her peas again and she seemed to do better. She ate more than yesterday and didn't gag, so we'll see what happens.

ALONG W/ SIX MONTHS, COMES THE SHOTS =(

Lyla also went to the doctor today and got her six month well baby check up and her third round of shots. She did great, and didn't even cry. She got three shots total and an oral vaccine.

LYLA IS SIX MONTHS OLD!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!! I cannot believe that Lyla is already six months old! It makes me want to cry and smile all at the same time. It seems like only yesterday her and I were getting to know each other. But now here she is, half a year old! I truly cannot believe how much she has grown and changed. When she was born she weighted 6lbs 10oz and was 20in. Now she weighs 15lbs 10oz and is 25in! She has gained 9lbs and has grown 5 inches since September 4th! My little sweetie is growing up! Here is is her six month picture and for comparison purposes a will attach a picture of her at only a few hours old.

YUMMY SQUASH

Yesterday Lyla tasted squash for the first time! Needless to say that she loved them too! She is getting so good at swallowing baby food, and she enjoys it so much! I am so proud of her. This was her first container of squash and she ate the whole thing in less than ten minutes. She was one hungry girl! Only a few more solids to master before we move onto stage 2 foods! Yeah! I can hardly wait!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEXY!!!

Today Lexy turned 15!!! She had a really good day at school today. Daddy sent her flowers and we put up posters in the school's entrance that said, "Happy 15th B-Day Lexy!" She was so happy and surprised. Her friends also got her a few things. I made her a cake and Daddy cooked filet minon and mashed potatoes! She said that this was one of the best birthday's ever!!! She even got a hug from her crush Brandon!!! Ohh! Anywho, here are some pictures!

Today is also Mom and Dad's 18th wedding anniversary!!! I cannot believe that have been together for that long already!!! Daddy played the gentleman thing and got mommy some flowers and Mom got Dad a much needed new cell phone. It was so cute! Here are some pic's from that!

LYLA'S FIRST SWING

On Friday while Mom and I were in Arrowhead (got my old phone back BTW) we got Lyla a very special present! We bought her her very first swing for the back patio! It is so perfect! She loves it and can swing it until she is three! She started cracking up every time we pushed her! Here are some pics! She is just so adorable!
