Its that time again! Time to show off my Photoshopping skills! LOL! This week's picture is entitled "Beauty", and that is just what it is. This picture is almost to perfect to edit. The composition is wonderful, and the colors are gorgeous, but I took a whack at it.

Better late than never. :P It 20 til midnight here in AZ, and I have yet to post my fix-it friday submission! :O Oh my!

Anyways, quick post. Here is the original. What a cutie this little guy is, huh?

Well, sorry that was so abrupt, but I must catch some z's. School has already been brutal and my ever fussy daughter has not been helping. I have been sleeping on the couch. I think I mentioned that in one of my previous posts.

BTW, got some AWESOME things to post...but alas, it must wait until later tomorrow. I know, I know, you are soooooo in suspense right now! Its okay, you WILL be okay.

FIX-IT FRIDAY

Okay everyone, so along with participating in the MckLinky Blog Hop every week, I am also going to be participating in the the I ♥ Faces weekly Fix-It Fridays and Weekly Photo Themes. I really want to improve my photography skills, as well as show all you loyal readers some of my work. So please feel free to let me know how you think I did [Please? Haha]

Here is my very first attempt at a Fix-It Friday! Yay!

MY VERSION

Here is a quick run-down of what I did with this photo:

• Cropped just a bit of the background off the right hand side of the photo.
• Applied an "Eye Define" action and popped his eyes. [Opacity at about 60%]
• Applied the "Creamy Chocolate B&W" Action by CoffeeShop Actions.
• Turned the opacity of the "chocolate" layer to 100%
• Turned down the Black and While layer to about 70% to let some of the color shine through.
• Used the paintbrush on the "creamy" layer mask. Painted over the boy to sharpen him a bit.

So there you have it! :D That's my contribution to this weeks Fix-It Friday! Whoo Hoo! Oh, and I also edited in Photoshop Version 7.0 for those who were wondering.
