FIX-IT FRIDAY

Okay everyone, so along with participating in the MckLinky Blog Hop every week, I am also going to be participating in the the I ♥ Faces weekly Fix-It Fridays and Weekly Photo Themes. I really want to improve my photography skills, as well as show all you loyal readers some of my work. So please feel free to let me know how you think I did [Please? Haha]

Here is my very first attempt at a Fix-It Friday! Yay!

Here is a quick run-down of what I did with this photo:

• Cropped just a bit of the background off the right hand side of the photo.
• Applied an "Eye Define" action and popped his eyes. [Opacity at about 60%]
• Applied the "Creamy Chocolate B&W" Action by CoffeeShop Actions.
• Turned the opacity of the "chocolate" layer to 100%
• Turned down the Black and While layer to about 70% to let some of the color shine through.
• Used the paintbrush on the "creamy" layer mask. Painted over the boy to sharpen him a bit.

So there you have it! :D That's my contribution to this weeks Fix-It Friday! Whoo Hoo! Oh, and I also edited in Photoshop Version 7.0 for those who were wondering.
