LYLA IS ELEVEN MOTNTHS OLD!!!

Holy freaking cow! Lyla is ONE MONTH away from her 1st birthday!!! Can you all believe it?!?! I know I sure can't! It seems like only yesterday she was in my tummy! I can hardly believe her and I have been together for almost a year! They weren't kidding when they said time goes by quickly. I think I am honestly going to cry on her first birthday. Part of me just doesn't want my baby to grow up. :( But I am so proud of her, and the little person she is becoming. :)

Lyla has changed and developed so much in this last month. Her crawling skills are AMAZING! She can now walk along things she holds onto, such as our ottoman. She is also starting to "talk" a lot more. She tries to mimic everything we say, or the noises we make. She still favors saying "dada" instead of "mama." But she will say "mama" a lot when she is upset. Haha! She is still breastfeeding, but it is less and less. I think I am more sad about this then she is. I know she will probably be self weaning soon, and that makes me so sad. I am really going to miss that bond. My milk supply is also beginning to drop.

Anyways, enough of the sad crap. Lyla now weighs 16lbs EVEN! Thank you all who prayed that we would gain weight! She was 15lbs 2oz at her weigh in last month, so that means she gained a really good amount of weight since then! Praise God!!! She is also 26 inches "tall." I can say tall now since she is standing up. Haha!

So that's the deal-e-o this month with Lyla Jayne. The next time you see this post, she will be ONE YEAR OLD! Please pray that I can handle it! :P
