HAPPY 2009!!!

Hey all, and welcome to another great year! I am so sorry that I haven't posted much this month. We have been SUPER busy! So what I am going to do is catch you up with what has been going on with me. Ready? Here we go.....

On the 22nd of December Lyla and I had an amazing opportunity to have a FREE photo shoot. Jim Culver is a professional photographer from our church who also lives right here in Congress. He is amazing! Overall he took 67 pictures of Lyla and me. Here are some of my favorites.

On the 25th of December Lyla celebrated her very first Christmas! She got a few really awesome gifts. Aunt Brandi got her her very first high chair which also matches her car seat and stroller, Aunt April and Uncle Larry got her a really adorable purple sleeper, and her grandma Barbara got her some cute outfits and a rattle. I would say that Lyla had a very fun first Christmas. I will also attach some pic's!

On the 26th of December we headed out for vacation in Scottsdale. Our hotel was amazing! We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Hanging out in SNOTSdall was sure fun! LOL! We went shopping and went to the Desert Botanical Gardens with Grandpa Joe and Grandma Karen. At the gardens they were featuring some amazing blown glass sculptures by Dale Chihuly. I will attach some pic's.

On New Years Eve the Cosgrove's headed down to the Wildlife World Zoo to check out some awesome animals. This was Lyla's first trip to the zoo! She had so much fun. Her favorite animals were the Ocelot and the Yellow Fish. I will post some of my favorite animal pictures! Oh and just an FYI, well all made it to midnight, well except Lyla that is!

And today we are just chilling out at home and reflecting on all the amazing things that happened in 2008. This past year was one of sadness and also miracles. I will attach some of the greatest moments from 2008. God bless you all and have a Happy New Year!!!

I celebrated my Sweet 16 at Carver's, and also found out I was pregnant. That was a bitter sweet time.

Lexy Lou got her braces off! She loves to show off her pearly whites now!

Lyla Jayne Cosgrove was born into this world at 11:45 AM on September 4th, 2008. She is my little miracle!
