I AM IN LOVE...

...with my new camera!!! Yes! I finally got a new camera! My old one was very beat up, and just recently had champagne spilled on it! LOL! I got a Canon SX 110 IS, 9MP 10X Optical zoom. It is the most amazing camera that I have ever owned! Anyways, I just wanted to gush, here are some pictures that I just took. They are strait out of the camera, with no editing, so you can see how awesome this camera is! Enjoy!

LOL! So here is an awesome video of Lyla rocking out to her favorite song! LOL! Sorry there are some pauses where she doesn't dance, she gets distracted by the camera. Anywho, I hope you get a good laugh out of this! P.S. she pretty much dances to ANY form of music! Haha! What a cutie pie! =D

LYLA IS EIGHT MONTHS OLD!!!

Today my little Lyla turned eight months! Ahhh!!! I cannot believe it! Every month she is growing and changing more than the last. It feels like only yesterday I was HUGE and PREGNANT!! I honestly cannot belive eight months have gone by! In just four short months, we will be celebrating her first birthday! OMG! ((End freakout))

Anyways, Lyla now weighs 15lbs 5oz, and is 27 inches long. She is still saying "mama" a lot, but she mostly does it when she is unhappy! LOL! I will put her in her crib for a nap and she will start fussing, and saying, "MAMAMAMAMA!!!" LOL! Its so cute! She can also completly sit on her own now! It is really helpful for me, because I can sit her up and she can entertain herself much better. Another new thing that she does, is feed herself. I will give her some bread, Gerber Puffs, or Yougurt Melts, and she will put them in her mouth! It is adorable! Hmm, what else? OH! She has also started this new thing, I will say "How big is baby?" and she will respond with putting her arms in the air, and then I say "SOOOO big!!!," and she just smiles so big! Haha!

Well, that's it for this month. We still have no teeth BTW, but I think they're coming! Here is Lyla's eight month picture! She loves you all!

GERBER PUFFS

Today I bought Lyla another finger food to try. They are called Gerber Puffs and they are AMAZING! They are like little cereal bite type things that melt in her mouth. She LOVES them! She is begininning to try more and more new things, and I just love see her reaction. I think she likes "real" food as opposed to pureed food a lot better. She can also feed herself now (finger food, not puree) and that is so cute to watch! Here are some pix, and a video of her eating her puffs.

SITTIN' IN THE SHOPPING CART

Today Lyla achieved another major milestone! She sat in the shopping cart all by herself for the very first time!!! She has been sitting up very well on her own for the past few weeks, so I figured it was time to ditch the car seat, and see if she could sit in the cart like a big girl. Well, she did awesome! She had the best time sitting up and looking around while we shopped. She just looked so precious! I just thought I would share this awesome news! Yay Lyla!
