THE DREADED TWO MONTH CHECK-UP

Yesterday Lyla went to the doctor for her 2 two month checkup, and all of us who have kids know what that means: SHOTS!!! It was so sad to watch them put that huge needle into Lyla's leg. She screamed bloody murder which in turn made me want to cry my eyes out. Now, I know that they are necessary so that she doesn't get some dreaded disease, but still........She was a trooper though, right when they put on the band-aid she stopped crying for the most part. She is such a good little girl. They also told me that she might have a fever for a few days and that her eating habits might change as well. But guess what, so far she is acting as normal as ever. She even slept for 7 hours last night!!! My little girl is tougher than I am!!! Yeah Lyla!

LYLA IS TWO MONTHS OLD!!!

Hey guys, so it’s Saturday and I am SUPER bored. However, that is not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes it's nice just to have a day off from all of the busyness. Of course when you stay home all the time like me, a little bored-ness can push you right over the edge. But enough about me, lets talk about my beautiful little girl. As of Thursday Lyla is 2 months old!!! It's crazy, if feels like I just had her yesterday. LOL!!! I will attach a picture that I took of her on Thursday. Oh and BTW, she now weighs 11 lbs and is 22 inches long. My little girl is growing up so fast!!!

NEW CAR!

Okay everyone, guess what!??!? Alexa and I finally got a car! It is so beautiful! It is a 2002 Honda Civic! When we bought it, it only had 38,000 miles on it! It was definitely a steal. So now Alexa and I have a car that we can both use through high school. Of course my mom and dad say that it’s not "our" car it’s their car and we are allowed to use it. LOL! I guess they are right but I am still going to call it our car. Here are some awesome pictures of OUR new car!!! Enjoy!

So this is my first attemp in the blogging world! Yay! I figured that since I have new baby-well not so new anymore-Lyla, a blog would be a great way to keep you all updated about the changes going on in mine and Lyla's life.
