AND THE SAGA CONTINUES...

My life has switched gears yet again. Today I officially turned in my withdrawl from school. While waiting for the paperwork to be filed, one of the counselors came up to me with some surprising news.

Long story short, I am back in school. Yay! I will be going to the Alternative School three hours a week {at which time I can bring Lyla with me}, and the rest of the work I will be doing on the computer at home. I will be graduating this December. It works out AMAZINGLY with the job I mentioned a few posts back. This is an answer to my prayers. God really does work things out.

So as of right now, I am going to be in school during the next few months. I think the job thing is going to be on hold, but we will see. I know for sure I will be starting the job I interviewed for in January, so the timing is PERFECT!

I pray this all works out. I really did not want to drop out, but I will do what I have to do to provide for my daughter. Now I can be home with her, which saves TONS of money. I get to walk with my class, and hold my diploma in my hand. God is good. Be praying this plan works out.

  1. I am so happy for you, this honestly couldn't have worked out any better for you. You get to graduate, no dropping out, you get to be at home with Lyla again and you start a new amazing job opportunity in January, what could honestly be better?!

God is looking down on you :)!!!

  2. I'm so happy for you! I was really hoping something would change so you could finish school.

I'm getting ready to start nursing school and I'm currently in three classes. It hasn't been easy, but it's totally doable. And I don't have Spencer in day care and I also receive no child support from her father, AKA, the sperm donor. But somehow I make it work, I do odd jobs whenever I can, I make a teeny amount of money from my blog, and I sell a lot of things on ebay. It's not a lot coming in, but I know that it will be different soon enough!

I know it sounds so cliche, but you'll be able to do SO much more for Lyla if you continue with your education. Even if it's part time and you take classes online, it will be worth it in the end.

Okay, sorry to sound all education preachy! I'm just a very strong believer in education :)
