To Kill a Mockingbird

I read this book the summer between 7th and 8th grade. I saw it on our book shelf and asked Mom about it. She said it was one of the great American classics and that I should read it. So I picked it up and couldn't put it down! I finished it in about 4 days, and was completely blown away. Rarely does a book effect me in such a way as Harper Lee's tale of a young girl, her brother, and racial segregation. It has to be one of the best books of all time.
